Conclusion: How Should We Live in This World God Created
A recap of how to maintain Healthy Blood through your environment
We have been studying principle 4 of the 7 Biblical Principles of Living Under God's Design. The overarching principle comes from Leviticus 17:11: "the life of the flesh is in the blood." We have been focusing on how to get healthy blood so it can provide life to our flesh.
Thus far in the series we have shared the following:
Here is a recap of what we learned about Principle 4, Healthy Blood Through Environment:
Delighted by Living From the Garden explored the fact that the God gave fruits and vegetables as man's first food. So too -- fruits and vegetables should be a primary focus in our diets.
Embracing the Lights and Seasons God Created talked about the importance of considering seasonal issues in our lifestyle choices -- as God implemented seasons for a reason.
Practical Ways to Embrace the Seasons gave more specific application to the seasons, exploring such things as climate, food, exercise, clothing, sunshine, and more.
Harnessing the Healing Power of the Sun explored how the sun that God created has received a bad reputation among men. We saw that the sun is an important component for healing of the body and for vitamin D production.
Did God Create Us for Work (Exercise) or Is It Part of the Curse? introduced the topic of exercise. From there we shared several blog posts exploring such ideas as transportation in the Bible, ways to mimic God's design for exercise, benefits of exercise, dangers of sitting too long, ways to get paid to exercise, specific exercise routines, yoga alternatives, and more. We summed up and linked to all that information in the post: (Almost) Everything You Need to Know about Exercise and the Bible.
Now that we have completed Principle 4, we will be moving on to Principle 5: Healthy Blood Through Moderate Eating.
