Why I Have Added Premium Content
And how you can get a FREE upgraded subscription
Dear Readers,
When I started Reformed Health (now Reformed Earth) over 10 years ago, my only goal was to help people learn to apply God’s principles to their health.
I spent lots of time and money creating FREE content for my readers and learning how to improve my writing.
Yet, I found out the task was unsustainable because I was spending lots of time and money, but wasn’t bringing in any income for the household. Several times, I’ve had to pause writing altogether to earn money to help with the rising costs of living.
Ministering to people made it all worthwhile, but it didn’t help me pay the bills.
I’ve struggled to find ways to monetize my writing ministry. When Substack came along, I had hoped people would sign up as paid subscribers because they valued my work. Some have. And I am so very thankful. It’s just not enough to justify the time I put into my writing.
As a copywriter, I can earn a fairly good income writing. Sadly, I have a limited amount of creative energy. If I am earning money writing for others, I don’t have the time or creativity to create my own content.
I’ve been praying about this, and the Lord has led me to put some of my writing behind a paywall. This premium content helps me show appreciation to those who do support my work financially. And it will, hopefully, increase my paid subscriptions, which will, in turn, help support my family.
Here’s the problem:
